Go Casual for Justice
The DC Bar Foundation’s eighth annual Go Casual for Justice denim-day fundraiser kicked off on October 24, 2016. While the campaign officially ran until November 18th, donations will be counted until the end of the fiscal year to give workplaces more time to participate.
Go Casual for Justice began in 2009, with 30 law firms raising a total of $30,000 for DC’s legal aid providers. Last year, more than 60 law firms, corporate law departments, banks, and other workplaces participated and raised over $50,000! Funds raised through this initiative provide critical resources to DC’s civil legal aid network through grants, training and technical assistance, and the Foundation’s Loan Repayment Assistance Program.
Participating is easy. Once your workplace is registered, simply make a gift to DCBF in order to dress down during the office’s designated “Go Casual Day.”
For more information about Go Casual for Justice and to register your workplace, please contact David Stone, Development Officer, at email@example.com or (202) 853-9025.
