[District of Columbia, October 9, 2015] – On Saturday, October 17, the DC Bar Foundation Young Lawyers Network will host its third annual Go Formal for Justice Gala, to benefit the District’s civil legal aid network.
The black tie optional event will feature music by NYX Live, an open bar with local craft beer and liquor, a spirits tasting by Virginia Distillery Company, light hors d’oeuvres and desserts, red carpet photos, a tarot card reader, and a silent auction. Auction items include a private Potomac River cruise, a Charlottesville wine tasting weekend, and a two night staycation at the W Washington D.C. Hotel.
Last year, more than 300 young lawyers and professionals attended this event, which raised more than $60,000 to fund, support, and improve civil legal aid in DC. Tickets are $125 in advance and $175 at the door. Public interest tickets are no longer available. To purchase tickets, please visit http://goformalforjustice.eventbrite.com.
Special thanks to Mayer Brown LLP for graciously hosting the event, and Titanium sponsor Vinson & Elkins LLP for their generous support. Please visit http://www.dcbarfoundation.org for more information about Go Formal for Justice and the DC Bar Foundation. The event will take place Saturday, October 17 from 8 p.m. to 12 a.m. at Mayer Brown LLP, 1999 K St., NW.
