Position Summary The Evaluation and Innovation Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to the Evaluation and Innovation department to ensure smooth operation and coordination of department activities including support for the Coordinated Intake and Referral (CIR) Program, the DC Social Justice Transformations Network, and across the data-driven evaluation efforts of the DC Bar Foundation.
Primary Job Duties
Assist the department with programmatic, financial, administrative, and logistical matters.
Assist with testing and monitoring of the CIR program and technologies
Collaborate with external partners on implementation and follow-up of evaluation activities and projects.
Assist in developing communication, stakeholder engagement, and outreach plans and strategies for CIR and other network initiatives and support their implementation.
Manage incoming correspondence, including review, transmission, and follow-up actions.
Schedule, coordinate, and participate in meetings, presentations, training sessions, and conferences.
Develop and maintain effective storage and filing systems, ensuring data integrity, as well as consistent and accurate record management.
Interact with multiple databases and web-based platforms to ensure proper data collection, storage, quality, accuracy, and retrieval.
Assist the Director of Evaluation and Innovation with administrative, operational, and programmatic functions.
Provide quality control through drafting, proofreading, and finalizing various deliverables.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Two years of professional work experience handling duties comparable to those outlined above, with one year of work experience in a nonprofit environment
Strong knowledge of administrative practices, with excellent formatting skills
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Customer-service-oriented and eager to support the Foundation’s Mission and Vision
Ability to work efficiently independently and with a team
Ability to effectively utilize Microsoft Office Suite, Asana, and Adobe Acrobat and to develop and configure website materials

Work Environment
This role is based in Washington, DC, and will require work to be performed remotely and within the office space. The position involves frequent use of computers, phones, and virtual meeting platforms. The role may require periodic work outside of regular business hours and occasional local travel.

Compensation and Benefits
We believe in paying fairly and competitively. To execute this, we utilize a strategic compensation review process to determine starting pay rates as well as annual adjustments.
The hiring range for this position is $56,000 to $60,000. Decisions regarding each individual’s compensation are made using a holistic analysis of market rates, experience, competencies, education, performance, internal equity, annual budget, and economic state.
