With over 15 years of experience in international development, research, monitoring and evaluation, and project management, Farid Forozi is a dedicated professional committed to advancing good governance, social development, and access to justice programs. He has extensive experience in designing, leading, and evaluating projects and programs in areas such as good governance, social development, peace and democracy, anti-corruption, women empowerment, organizational development, capacity building, and policy research.
In May 2024, Farid joined the DC Bar Foundation as Director of Evaluation and Innovation. In this role, he oversees program evaluations and fosters innovative approaches to enhance the Foundation's community impact.
Prior to this, Farid worked with prominent international and non-profit organizations such as Decision Analysis Partners, Democracy International Inc., The Asia Foundation, and CARE International. He supported and led projects funded by USAID, USTDA, DFID, the World Bank, AusAID/DFAT, and other international and private donors.
Farid’s role as Director of Service Delivery Process Improvement and Deputy Chief of Party at Democracy International involved leading multiple service delivery, anti-corruption, and digital transformation projects in Afghanistan. His efforts streamlined governance systems and integrity ecosystem, resulting in citizen-centric delivery of public services and enhanced transparency and accountability in policy formulation and government processes. Additionally, Farid co-led a USTDA project in Brazil, implementing audit and procurement modernization initiatives at federal and sub-national Brazilian audit courts and promoting best-value procurement policies and practices. As a Project Manager for The Asia Foundation's European Union-funded Regional Cooperation Project, Farid managed a $6 million budget across 14 countries, promoting regional trade and economic integration. His strategic vision and contributions to project design, management, and evaluation boosted regional cooperation and promoted economic development initiatives.

Farid is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and holds a Master of Arts in Anti-Corruption Studies from the International Anti-Corruption Academy in Vienna, Austria.
Farid’s passion for development is matched by his dedication to ensuring fair treatment and justice for all, particularly in underserved and vulnerable communities. He resides in Fairfax, Virginia, where he enjoys traveling, long walks, reading, and spending time with his family.
