Noah Leonard joined the DC Bar Foundation in December 2024. Committed to supporting the economic enfranchisement and holistic support of vulnerable communities, Noah has focused his early career on social impact work. His experience ranges from Family Rapid Re-Housing program management and providing bilingual case management services in the District of Columbia to conducting research and advocating policy change with an international nonprofit, focused on reducing and eliminating gendered violence. Noah is passionate about the accessibility and effectiveness of social programs and believes unequivocally that social programs should be both data and empathy-driven, as well as dynamically structured to meet the complex and compounding needs of the community the program intends to serve while supporting the network of service providers directly involved in leading these efforts.
Across Noah’s various roles, qualitative analysis combined with careful and empathetic considerations have supported positive outcomes and led to meaningful programmatic changes.
As a First-Generation College Graduate, Noah received his BA in Political Science and BA in Spanish from the College of Wooster. Prior to his undergraduate experience, Noah received a certificate in Accounting from Marion Technical College. Currently, Noah is a Master’s of Public Policy candidate at George Washington University.
In his free time, Noah adores live music (particularly R&B and Jazz), volunteers as an ESOL instructor in the DC area, and regularly does yoga.
