CAREER PATH

Most rewarding element of your work I get to give away lawyers’ time and money to narrow the access to justice gap.

If I hadn’t become a lawyer, I’d be… Legal journalist, ala Nina Totenberg

Legal Aid

Legal aid is important to me because . . . A lawyer can have such a huge impact on the outcome of so many problems that low-income residents in DC face. No one should have to face the prospect of losing one’s home or custody of one’s children without a lawyer to help navigate the judicial system.

Your dream for our legal system is…. A right to counsel for all litigants in high-stakes personal civil litigation.

Go Casual for Justice

How long have you participated in Go Casual for Justice? Since 2009.

I give to DCBF because… The access to justice gap in DC is far from being closed.

Greatest benefit to giving through Go Casual for Justice? We’ve made significant contributions to LRAP.
