The DC Bar Foundation's Young Lawyers Network Leadership Council (YLN LC) invites you to save the date for its fourth annual Avenues to Justice event, generously hosted by Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP, on the evening of Wednesday, July 12. We hope you will join us for an insightful panel discussion about the intersection of wellbeing and civil legal aid.
The Full Frame Initiative describes wellbeing as "the set of needs and experiences universally required in combination and balance to weather challenges and have health and hope." Universally experienced wellbeing is critical to building a civil justice system that works for all District residents. You can learn more about why and how the Foundation is infusing wellbeing into our work in 2023 in the lead article from our January newsletter.
We look forward to having you join us on July 12 as we dive into what the concept of wellbeing means for our goal to transform the delivery of civil legal aid.
This year, the YLN LC hopes to raise $60,000 for DC's civil legal aid network through Avenues to Justice, and so far, we have raised $6,766 from the generous individual and corporate sponsors below. Will you help us reach our goal? Individual and Corporate sponsorships are available at several levels to fit your needs. Sponsors receive a varying number of tickets to attend a rooftop happy hour, followed by the main event. We will announce details about panelists and speakers in the coming weeks.
All proceeds from Avenues to Justice benefit the DC Bar Foundation's work of providing equal access to justice within our community by strengthening, expanding, and transforming the District's civil legal aid network. Learn more about how we work toward this goal by visiting our website.
Thank you for supporting the DC Bar Foundation through Avenues to Justice. See you on July 12!
